I’m going to ask you a million questions when we meet, but that’s just because I want to get to know you better. So, I’ll go first! Let me tell you a little bit about myself…
Hi, I'm Mary,
a portrait and fashion photographer with roots that stretch all the way back to a fifth-grade obsession with my first iPod Touch and the early days of Instagram. While most kids my age were posting selfies with friends, I was wandering 64 acres of upstate New York countryside—camera in hand, capturing skies, wildflowers, and my ever-patient dogs. With no neighborhood kids around, I turned to nature and photography for company. It turns out, that quiet beginning sparked a lifelong love for creating images.
Ten years later, I earned my B.A. in Art History with a minor in Photography, and I’ve been making art with my lens ever since.
Today, my passion lies in photographing people. Whether I’m shooting a fashion editorial, senior portraits, or intimate group sessions in my studio, I thrive on creating a space where my subjects feel confident, seen, and beautiful. There’s truly nothing more rewarding.
Outside of photography, you’ll find me hiking, hanging out with my cat, catching a good movie (Interstellar is an all-time favorite), or visiting exhibitions that feed my creative soul.
